My Mom arrived last night and we went to pick her up at the airport. It was so great to see her and have her here with us for a little Christmas. We ended up going to dinner at Maggianos (yum!) in Tampa and then a little light shopping at Westshore Mall. Just a little preliminary before the BIG shopping trip on Saturday.
I am so relieved to get to spend some Christmas time with my Mom. We have really gotten close over the last 5 years or so and having her here is just the best Christmas gift I could ask for. We are going to shop today and then tomorrow we are going to have Christmas together and act like it is Christmas morning with a big breakfast and opening presents!
